OVERVIEW

There are many ways to measure your child’s learning. Your child’s teacher uses report card grades, classroom work, teacher observations, and end-of-year statewide test results to get a complete picture of your child’s learning.

 

The Education and Instructional Services Department coordinates the administration and coordination of all district, state, and federally-mandated assessments (listed below). 

 

FEDERAL:

National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP)

 

STATE:

  • California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) - English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Spanish, Alternative Assessments
  • English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC)
  • Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

 

DISTRICT:

  • STAR Renaissance - Early Literacy, English Language Arts and Mathematics
  • Amplify DIBELS and LECTURA Literacy
