CURRENT STUDENT - Annual Information Review

All current MEUSD families must complete the district's Annual Information Review process (AIR) in Aeries Parent Portal for the 2023-24 school year. 

If your student is transitioning from one of our state or head start preschool programs OR from an elementary school to the junior high OR from the junior high to high school, your child's information has been automatically rolled over to their next school. YOU DO NOT NEED TO COMPLETE A NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT.

 

Please note this process is for CURRENT STUDENTS ONLY, and must be completed for each student in your family to ensure their information is current and that they are enrolled properly for the 2023-24 school year.

Before you begin...

 

Step 1: Gather your documents

Please have the following information available and ready to upload:

 

Proof of residency:

You will be required to provide one document from the list below to verify your residency.  Evidence of residency may be established by documentation showing the name and address of the parent/guardian within the district, including, but not limited, any of the following: (Education Code 48204.1)

 

Examples of Accepted Residency Documentation (Must be current):

  • Mortgage Statement or payment receipts
  • Rental property contract, lease, or payment receipts
  • Property tax payment receipt
  • Grant Deed
  • Escrow Papers
  • Utility service contract, statements, or payment receipts
  • Pay stubs
  • Voter registration
  • Correspondence from a government agency
  • Declaration of residency (Affidavit of Residence / Afidávit of Residencia) must be completed by the student’s parent/guardian
 
 
 

Steps to Complete the Aeries Information Review (AIR) Process 

Step 1: Log in to the Aeries Parent Portal CLICK HERE

 
 
 

Step 2: Families can access the Annual Information Review by clicking on the link in the yellow banner message OR from the Student Info tab on the dropdown menu. 

Step 3: Family Information, Student Information, Contacts, and Medical History. The menu of required information to review will appear along the left side. Please review each tab to complete the process.

Step 4: Documents Click on each PDF document to review and mark as read. Download the Residency Declaration Form. This form will need to be completed and then uploaded later in Step 6: Requested Documents.

Step 5: Authorizations Read each authorization and indicate your response in the Status column and click SAVE at the bottom of the screen.

Step 6: Requested Documents This tab will allow you to upload PDF and JPG (picture) documents into Aeries. This is where you will upload your completed Residency Declaration Form AND one form of proof of residency. The uploaded documents will show as pending and will be reviewed by school office staff for approval. If they are not approved, you will be contacted by the school with more information.

The enrollment and data confirmation will not be complete until the 2 documents are submitted.

If you have any forms that are required to be completed at your site, please contact or visit your child's school site between July 17th and August 11th. Please note our middle school sites will be moving over summer. You can contact the sites directly before visiting for their updated times and locations.

 

Step 7: Final Data Confirmation Click on the Finish and Submit button on the left-hand side of the form to finalize the Data Confirmation.
